Summing up I guess the main point of this post is that aspies can certainly give and receive love but that their expectations are often too high or too focussed to enable them to be properly receptive. I asked him how it was, and he went on and on about the food and wine as though I had asked about the restaurant.
He has a routine and will not deviate from that path. His behaviour bordered on the sociopathic. The neurodiverse people that I know are distributed over a wide spectrum of sexuality and sexual preferences, from asexual to hypersexual and everything in between, just like the neurotypical people that I know.

I would have stayed and worked it out, so I thought, but by the end of the last two years and suffering a nervous breakdown I could not do it.
